A Turkish-American activist was killed by Israeli forces during a protest against illegal Israeli settlements in the Beita town of Nablus in the occupied West Bank. In a report on Friday (September 6), Turkish media Anadolu Agency reported this information.
According to the report, the director of Rafidiya Hospital, Fuad Nafa, said that the woman, who holds US citizenship, was brought to the hospital with a bullet wound in the head.
We tried our best to save him. But he died due to a gunshot wound to the head," Nafa said.
Witnesses reported that Israeli soldiers opened fire on a group of Palestinians who took part in a protest against illegal settlements in Beita Hill, south of Nablus. 26-year-old Ayenur Izgi Igi was active in that protest.
