A spate of attacks across Lebanon has once again raised the issue of the vulnerability of anti-Israeli armed groups. Israeli espionage among armed groups such as Hamas-Hezbollah is not new. The secretiveness of these armed groups and the activities of the Israeli intelligence agencies are again in the discussion after the recent Paz explosion in Lebanon.
Analysts say that information has been leaked from within Hezbollah for such a large-scale attack. They also feel that this is not possible without a very strong and effective organization.
Holon Institute of Technology Cyber Head Dr. Harel Minasri said that this type of attack was carried out after long planning. Whoever is behind these attacks, it is clear that they are highly effective. They have the ability to infiltrate Hezbollah's organizational structure.
Analysts say, Mossad will not stop here. The activities of the Israeli intelligence agencies on organizations like Hezbollah-Hamas will continue in new ways. Dr. Harel Minasri said that this attack was definitely done with a goal in mind. And this type of attack only happens once. The same method will not be used repeatedly.
Earlier, Israeli intelligence operations were also blamed for the assassinations of Hamas chief Ismail Haniyeh in Iran and Quds Brigade chief General Qasem Soleimani in Iraq. Allegations of secret information being leaked from within these armed groups.
