| Child care worker in Australia accused of raping 60 children |
A former childcare worker in Australia has been found guilty of raping and sexually abusing dozens of children over 20 years. In a report, the British media BBC News reported this information.
According to the report, a court in Queensland, Australia started hearing on Monday (September 2). The accused is 46-year-old Ashley Paul Griffith. Admitted committing a total of 307 offenses between 2003 and 2022 at childcare centers in Brisbane and Italy.
Defendant Griffith admitted to the court that most of the children he raped and sexually abused were under the age of 12. The judge's assistant in the court took two hours to read all the charges against him.
Meanwhile, police have previously described Griffith as one of Australia's worst 'pedophiles'. A person who is attracted to children is called a pedophile.
